Cioeste presents an unprecedented study in the region for the members of the consortium

After studying the impact of climatic vulnerability, the Cioeste (Intermunicipal Trust of the Region West Metropolitan of São Paulo) promoted a meeting between the mayors who compose the trust and the executive director of the Caf (Bank of Development of Latin America), Victor Rico. The meeting was carried through with the objective to deal with the viabilization of loans of the financial institution for the execution of projects of workmanships in areas of social vulnerability.

Commanded for the president of the trust, Elvis Cezar, the meeting counted on the presence of mayors Rogério Lins (Osasco), Joshua Ramos (Vargem Grande Paulista), Rogério Franco (Cotia), Pablo Barufi (Jandira), Landmarks Snows (Carapicuíba) and Dany WilianFloresti (Pirapora do Bom Jesus). The too much mayors had ordered representatives. The secretaries of the cities had been gifts also.


As study of a consulting promoted for the Cioeste, a diagnosis of the areas of social vulnerability of each city of the Region was carried through West of the Great São Paulo. Now, of ownership of this study, the mayors will go to prioritize the necessities and, with its technician, to elaborate the projects that will have to be approved by the respective City councils.

As they are about foreign loans, the same ones will have of being evaluated and being approved by the Senate of the Republic. According to president of the Cioeste, Elvis Cezar, the credit facility of the Caf has broken of the platform of R$ 40 million, the interests that vary of 3 4% to the year. “Our cities Are excellent conditions of financing to decide many social problems to them and to help our population”, said Cezar.
