The city of Vargem Grande Paulista is new integrant of the Cioeste (Intermunicipal Trust of the Region West Metropolitan of São Paulo). The young city, that has only 35 years of foundation, is between that presents potential greater of growth in the economic scene of the State of São Paulo.
With the entrance of Vargem Grande Paulista, the Cioeste passes to be integrated by nine cities (Barueri, Carapicuíba, Cotia, Itapevi, Jandira, Osasco, Pirapora do Bom Jesus, Santana de Parnaíba and Vargem Grande Paulista).
