Elvis Cezar is reelected president of Cioeste

Mayor of Santana de Parnaíba and current president of the Cioeste (Intermunicipal Trust of the Region West Metropolitan of São Paulo), Elvis Cezar was reelected to follow to the front of the presidency of the trust throughout the next year.

The decision was officialized in assembly carried through in the headquarters of the Cioeste, Alphaville, the last thursday (14/12), that it congregated mayors of the cities that integrate the trust currently (Araçariguama, Barueri, Carapicuíba, Cotia, Itapevi, Jandira, osasco, Pirapora do Bom Jesus, Santana de Parnaíba and Vargem Grande Paulista).

Segundo Elvis, during its next mandate, the plans include to advance with the projects initiated in this year, between which it is the shared medicine purchase, that consists of the acquisition of these products of form integrated between the cities, guaranteeing reduction of expenses for all the cities in the process. “This is a great tool. People want to advance this in other segments also, so that we let us can have advantages in these segments”, scored.

The president of the Cioeste also pointed the progress of the Region West Metropolitan of São Paulo in the international relations, especially in what sustainable set says respect the partnerships directed toward the economic development, carried through with e regions agencies of promotion of diverse parts of the world, as European countries and members of the Mercosul.

Elvis, the international agreements firmed by the trust especially supply to new possibilities for averages and small industries, that can establish new partnerships business-oriented, related the practical ones as importation and exportation, with these other regions, generating job chances and increasing the local income.

A challenge in the region, in its evaluation, says respect to urban mobility. It evaluated the necessity of improvements in the local road lines, in the application of intelligent traffic lights, the structure of the sidewalk and passarelas of the e region in the collective public transport.
